The 5th Chu Culture International Conference and the Academic Symposium on Chu Han Bamboo Scripts Excavated in Jingzhou will be held in Jingzhou, Hubei Province in early-November 2021. It will be jointly organized by Yangtze University,Jingzhou Jinan Ecological and Cultural Tourism Zone, and Ohio State University, and co-organized by Chinese Chu Culture Research Institute (under preparation), Chu Culture Research Institute of Yangtze University, and National East Asian Languages Resource Center of Ohio State University. It aims to unite experts and scholars from different disciplines at home and abroad to deepen the study of Chu Culture from multiple dimensions, to provide intellectual support for the large-scale development of Chu Cultural tourism industry, and to emphasize the excellence of the Chu Culture and traditional Chinese culture.
1. Time
It is tentatively scheduled in early November, 2021, and the specific time is yet to be determined.
2. Venue
Jinan Ecological and Cultural Tourism Zone in Jingzhou, Hubei Province, China. The specific location is to be determined.
3. Format
This symposium will be held in a combination of both online and offline forms. Participants can choose either form to attend the symposium according to their own circumstances.

5. Call for Papers
(1)Submit the first draft of conference paper before July 15th for review and selection. Please send the electronic manuscript to: cwhyjy@163.com .
(2)The final draft of conference paper should be submitted before August 15th. The organizing committee will issue formal invitation letters for the received papers.
(3)Excellent manuscripts will be selected from the collected papers and compiled into the Chu Culture Research (Collection). The remuneration will be 500 yuan per thousand words.
